We're often asked to define our preferred media. Our standard answer? Whatever works.

If we want to reach kids while they're at school, we'll use milk cartons. If we want to reach architectural lighting designers, we'll use direct mail postcards. We use what works. We like cable TV. We get great numbers at a great cost. We like special interest vertical print. We get to the people that we want to reach, with a media they actually enjoy. Most of all, we like reaching who we want to reach with as little waste as humanly possible.

There's been a lot of talk about how the web will revolutionize every aspect of the advertising business...and guess what? It's true. We knew it way back when the web was only looked at as a way of cutting printing costs on a B to B brochure.

We know all the little ends and outs and we know something else...you still need a clear, persuasive, linear argument to get you from the point of interest to the point of sale.

This is where we started, where we grew and where we still do a better job than the vast majority of agencies that specialize in trade advertising. What makes us so good? Long ago, we came to the amazingly obvious conclusion that business people (from the President right down to the Purchasing Manager) need to be captivated, entertained and compelled to make a purchase in much the same way as consumers. Wow, what a concept! Sure, you'll always need some hard facts for the engineers out there, but there's no reason why they can't be conveyed with humor and drama and power.
